After having Timex’s Leather Slip-Thru Fairfield Watch (for 2 years, I might add), I purchased this new band since the leather had stretched and gotten a few oil stains over time. - Hi Amelia! To adjust the strap on your watch, follow these steps: SLIDING CLASP BRACELET 1. Open locking plate 2. Move clasp to desired bracelet length 3. Exert pressure while holding locking plate and slide clasp back and forth until it engages in grooves on underside of bracelet 4. Press locking plate down until it snaps closed Clasp can be damaged if excessive force is used If you need assistance or prefer professional adjustment, we recommend visiting a local jeweler.
