A toughened glass made from silica that's heat- and scratch-resistant, offering clear visibility and solid everyday durability.

Enhanced durability
Mineral crystals use a similar material to windowpane glass and were developed for watches as a harder alternative to acrylic. Mineral crystals are still susceptible to scratches but less so than acrylic, however it is not possible to buff out these scratches as it is with acrylic. Mineral glass is not as shatter resistant as acrylic but does offer greater transparency and clarity. Due to their improved scratch resistance versus acrylic, and improved shatter resistance versus sapphire, mineral is often considered to be the best of both worlds as a crystal material.

"I bought this watch and it arrived non functioning. They were happy to refund my money as soon as I sent them back the watch. They would not just send a new watch. I had to go and repurchase the watch again. This was fine until I could not get the inital discount that they offered. so now the new watch is costing 25% more and this is the second time I have to pay the shipping as the shipping cost was not refunded. I asked about the discount on the second watch and they said they would honor the discount only after I paid full price and showed proof of delivery. jumping through all the hoops I am still waiting on the discount refund. has the makings of a sales scam where they profit from 2X shipping cost and not offering the discount promised. The watch is great. Love the look and the indglo light feature makes the truly easy to read in the dark."

Q&A
- Love this watch but cannot figure out how to activate the INDIGLO. The crown appears to have 3 positions (timekeeping, date set, time set)...but cannot be pushed in to activate the INDIGLO. This feature is important as it's intended to be my primary camping watch and was purchased in part for this feature.

To activate the INDIGLO feature, you’ll want to press the crown inward (toward the watch case). Make sure the crown is in the normal timekeeping position (fully pushed in) and press it once to illuminate the dial.
