Originally unleashed onto the scene in 1983, the Timex Automatic 1983 E Line Reissue is a classic dress watch distinguished by a rounded square case shape affectionately dubbed the ‘TV Dial.’ For this modern-day reissue, we’ve upgraded its construction to stainless-steel and powered it with a Miyota caliber 8215 Japanese automatic movement with 21 jewels that brings the first automatic to our line of reissues. Completing its smooth profile is a brushed and polished stainless-steel expansion band enhanced with our Perfect Fit technology, a vintage-style acrylic crystal, and a discreet date window seamlessly integrated into the clean dial at 3 o’clock.Specifications

The case is small, but chunky so the face appears very small, not only that but it's really thick, so it sticks out on the wrist. To me this defeats the point of wearing a smaller watch. - Hi, I purchased this watch and the strap has broken twice after only a handful of wears. Is this a know issue with this watch or is it possible mine is faulty?
